Tatyana Fertelmeyster is an interculturalist with more than 15 years of experience as counselor, trainer and consultant specializing in multi-cultural issues. Tatyana received MA in Journalism from Moscow State University (Moscow, Russia) and MA in Guidance and Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University (Chicago, IL). She has done extensive post-graduate studies in Intercultural Communication and Diversity.
She has been a featured speaker at many local, state and national conferences, and has conducted training programs for variety of groups and organizations throughout the United States as well as in Europe. She is a faculty member at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication (Portland, OR). Tatyana is a co-author of the Russian version of a training tool Cultural Detectiveâ„¢, which popularity is growing among professionals providing intercultural training and companies that use it for intercultural competency training, teambuilding and coaching. She is a past president of SIETAR-USA (Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research).
